Mitochondria as Central to Fitness

From bib. source

The secret to becoming stronger and more physically fit lies within our cells, and in the tiny yet powerful structures called mitochondria.

Enough said–this seems like it would be a powerful idea to build physical health protocols around: that cultivating our cellular mitochondria is what produces overall physical fitness (LeMond 2015, 6).

Mitochondrial cultivation and degrees of freedom

Perhaps there is some inherent link of some sort between mitochondrial cultivation and degrees of freedom, since bodily degrees of freedom may be another way to look at physical fitness.
